Located near the town of Brora, this distillery created in 1819 was first named Clynelish until 1969. It was renamed Brora to avoid confusion with another distillery located beside it and also called Clynelish. The Brora storehouses are now used for the maturation of the actual Clynelish. Brora used to produce the most peaty of the Highlands single malt. |
