The Benriach distillery was closed only six years after it was built in 1897, and stayed silent for more than 60 years, until it was rebuilt in 1965. Its production capacity was doubled in 1985. Its malt is part of the "Chivas" familly blends. Specificity: part of the barley is malted on the premices.
