Created in 1800, Auchentoshan means "the field's corner". The distillery was partially destroyed during WWII after a bombing. Enlarged in 1974, Auchentoshan is one of the last two distilleries still in activity in the Lowlands. Specifics: Auchentoshan is one of the rare scottish malts made with a triple distillation.
